Pakistan take on South Africa in T20I series decider today
LAHORE – Pakistan and South Africa are set to face off in the final and decisive T20I of the three-match series at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, today (Saturday). The match will begin at 8 PM, with the series levelled at 1-1, setting up a thrilling finale for fans.

Pakistan bounced back strongly in the second T20I with a dominant nine-wicket win, showcasing an exceptional all-round performance led by pacer Salman Mirza and opener Saim Ayub.

Chasing a modest 111-run target, Pakistan raced to victory in just 13.1 overs, thanks to a blistering 71 not out off 38 balls from Saim Ayub, who hammered six fours and five sixes. He was well supported by Babar Azam, who remained unbeaten on 11 and became the highest run-scorer in T20Is, surpassing India’s Rohit Sharma with 4,231 runs in 159 matches.

Earlier, Pakistan’s bowlers dismantled South Africa’s batting lineup, bowling them out for 110 in 19.2 overs. Faheem Ashraf shone with four wickets for 23 runs, while debutant Salman Mirza impressed with three for 14, removing Reeza Hendricks and Tony de Zorzi early. Despite Dewald Brevis’s quick 25, South Africa struggled to build partnerships.

The winner of tonight’s clash will take the T20I series trophy, before both teams turn their attention to the three-match ODI series, beginning November 4 in Faisalabad.
