Royal feud between Harry and William remains “alive and well”

Published on: November 8, 2025 1:47 PM

A royal expert claims that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s feud with the royal family is “alive and well,” suggesting that Prince William is no longer a priority for the Duke of Sussex. Speaking to the Mirror, Richard Fitzwilliams highlighted that recent events underline the continuing tension between the California-based couple and the royals.

Fitzwilliams noted that Harry’s recent visit to Canada and Meghan’s appearance on a film set seemingly overshadowed Prince William’s Earthshot Prize tour in Brazil. According to an insider quoted by People magazine, Meghan appeared “very relaxed and happy,” introducing herself warmly to everyone on set.

The royal expert described the situation as “outrageous,” saying it was unusual for Earthshot events to be overshadowed first by Harry’s visit and then by Meghan’s film news. He emphasized that the feud between the brothers appears ongoing, with relations described as “water under the bridge.”

While Harry’s relationship with his father remains a separate matter, Fitzwilliams speculated that William is no longer high on Harry’s list of priorities. The expert’s comments underscore the persistent strain between the Sussexes and the rest of the royal family, despite public appearances and charitable engagements.
