Gas cylinder blast in Lahore kills three, injures seven

Three dead, 7 injured in Lahore cylinder blast
LAHORE – A powerful gas cylinder explosion in Harbanspura near Nadar Market on Monday caused a building to collapse, claiming the lives of three people. Rescue teams managed to pull seven injured individuals from the rubble and transported them to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Among the injured are six women, with three reported to be in critical condition. The explosion sparked panic in the area as police and emergency services rushed to the scene to assist with rescue operations.

Authorities have cordoned off the site and are conducting investigations to determine the cause of the blast. Officials emphasized the need to enforce safety measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Local residents described the scene as chaotic, with dust and debris spreading across nearby streets, and expressed shock over the sudden explosion in the busy neighborhood.

Rescue and medical teams continue to monitor the situation, while officials have urged citizens to remain vigilant about gas cylinder safety.
