Fatima Fertilizer hosts Sarsabz Kissan Convention in Multan to boost wheat productivity
Fatima Fertilizer, in partnership with the Punjab Agriculture Department, hosted the Sarsabz Kissan Convention in Multan, drawing over 1,300 farmers to discuss innovative and sustainable agricultural practices. The event focused on strategies to improve wheat yields and overall farm productivity, highlighting the benefits of using Sarsabz Nitrophos and Sarsabz CAN fertilisers.

The convention recognised farmers who secured top positions in provincial and district-level wheat high-yield competitions. Provincial winners were awarded tractors, while district-level champions received motorcycles and LCDs, acknowledging their contribution to enhancing wheat production through advanced fertiliser use.

Experts from Fatima Fertilizer stressed the importance of balanced fertiliser application, noting that Sarsabz Nitrophos and Sarsabz CAN have helped farmers achieve over a 10% per-acre increase in crop yield. The initiative aims to improve soil fertility, raise farmers’ incomes, and promote sustainable farming practices across Punjab.

Senior officials from the Punjab Agriculture Department, local government representatives, and agricultural experts attended the event, offering guidance and support to participating farmers. The convention also served as a platform for sharing knowledge, fostering collaboration, and encouraging adoption of high-performance fertilisers for enhanced productivity.

Fatima Fertilizer’s Sarsabz Kissan Convention is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to empower farmers, strengthen Pakistan’s agricultural sector, and contribute to national food security and economic growth.
