
ISLAMABAD: Fuel prices in Pakistan are expected to see significant changes in the next fortnight, with high-speed diesel possibly increasing by Rs9.60 per litre, according to sources monitoring global market trends. Petrol, on the other hand, may see a slight decrease of Rs1.96 per litre.
Kerosene prices are anticipated to rise by Rs8.82 per litre, while light diesel oil could go up by Rs7.15 per litre. The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) is set to forward its working paper to the Petroleum Division on November 15 for further review.

The Petroleum Division, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance, will prepare a joint summary for submission to the Prime Minister. Once approved, the Ministry of Finance will announce the revised prices, which will remain effective for 15 days.
Earlier this month, on November 1, kerosene oil prices were increased by Rs3.34 per litre, rising from Rs181.71 to Rs185.05 per litre. Light diesel oil also saw a hike of Rs1.22 per litre, bringing its price to Rs163.98 from Rs162.76.
