ISLAMABAD: Pakistani actress Mariyam Nafees shared heartfelt wishes for Men’s Day on social media, posting a carousel of photos featuring her husband, son, and male colleagues she has worked with. In her Instagram caption, she thanked the men in her life for being “kind, supremely caring and supportive” and expressed her gratitude for their unconditional love.
Addressing her son, she added a personal note, praying that he “grow into a man who carries love, kindness and joy wherever he goes, Ameen.” She also humorously apologized to men not featured in the photos, writing, “P.S.: the ones who didn’t cut, do better. kidding! didn’t have pictures, but if we speak, then know that I value you!”
Mariyam’s post comes after she recently responded sharply to a netizen who asked about her plans for a second child. The mother of a two-month-old son countered the question with, “Why? Are you a midwife?”
The actress and her producer-husband, Amaan Ahmed, married in March 2022 and announced their first pregnancy in November 2024.
