Cold, dry weather to persist nationwide

Published on: November 21, 2025 8:43 PM

Most parts of Pakistan are expected to remain cold and dry over the next 24 hours, as the latest forecast indicates stable conditions with no major weather change ahead. Temperatures are likely to stay low, especially during the evening and early morning hours.

However, northern regions may experience harsher conditions, since light rain and snowfall are expected in select areas of Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir. These brief spells could add to the already freezing atmosphere across the mountains.

Meanwhile, parts of Punjab might face light smog and fog, particularly late at night and early in the morning. This pattern may affect visibility on major roads, causing slower traffic movement in affected cities.

Furthermore, the overall weather situation is predicted to stay steady, as no strong weather systems are currently developing over the region. Dry air will continue to dominate, keeping the skies mostly clear across the country.

Even though colder nights are expected, daytime temperatures will remain mild in many areas, offering a calm and predictable weather pattern. Authorities have advised citizens to stay cautious during fog hours and prepare for cold nights in northern and central regions.
