Published on: November 22, 2025 12:57 PM

European Film Festival comes to Lahore

LAHORE – The European Film Festival (EUFF) 2025, curated by Olomopolo Media, is set to conclude its fourth edition at the Alhamra Art Centre on Saturday, bringing European cinema and culture to audiences in Pakistan. The festival has already visited Islamabad and Karachi, celebrating creativity, cultural exchange, and the universal language of film.

Hosted by a delegation of the European Union, EUFF 2025 emphasizes the power of cinema to connect communities and inspire reflection on shared human experiences. The festival in Lahore will span Hall 3, the Adabi Baithak, and the open-air courtyard of Alhamra, featuring screenings, interactive installations, and live performances.

The closing weekend promises a diverse cultural program, including dramatic readings, social dance performances, and immersive installations such as the “Wall of Fame,” which showcases a century of European cinema through 24 remarkable voices. Attendees can also engage with interactive exhibits like the Auteur Ego, Human Slot Game, and 360° camera, while dedicated spaces such as the Reading Nook and Kids’ Corner offer quiet moments for exploration and imagination.

Complementing the cinematic and interactive experiences, photo booths and curated food kiosks will create a lively festival atmosphere where visitors can not only watch films but step into the stories themselves. The festival is free and open to the public, welcoming families, students, local artists, diplomats, and film enthusiasts alike.

EUFF 2025 reflects Lahore’s rich artistic heritage and invites audiences to experience cinema as a tool for connection, conversation, and cultural celebration.
