
Asim Azhar has released his first fully independent album, calling it his “most honest album yet.” To celebrate, he shared a heartfelt snippet with his mother, highlighting the personal nature of his music.
“This album was written in my most vulnerable and honest state,” Azhar wrote on Instagram. He added that he previously felt pressured to follow trends but realized music’s value lies in authenticity rather than popularity.

The album, titled Asim Ali, features 10 tracks including Khabbay Sajjay, Na Ja, Changes, Lost n Found, Sugar Rush, Jind Mahi, Pari, U Got This, Strangers, and a collaboration with Talha Anjum. All songs are written and composed by Azhar.
Produced by Kumail Abbas, mixed by Jokhay, and mastered by Rooshan, the album reportedly set a national record for the most pre-saves for a Pakistani album. Azhar expressed excitement and gratitude to fans for supporting his independent journey.

Prior to the release, Azhar cleared his Instagram and shared only a “Khuda Hafiz” story, sparking concern among fans. Soon after, he revealed his reinvention as ‘Asim Ali’ and announced the album, reassuring listeners about his musical future.
Asim Ali marks a new chapter for the singer after years of hit singles and collaborations with major labels. Fans are celebrating his artistic freedom and the personal storytelling reflected throughout the album.
