Feroze Khan recalls struggle after divorce from Aliza

Published on: November 25, 2025 12:23 AM

Pakistani actor Feroze Khan has finally spoken about the painful period that reshaped his life after his divorce from Aliza Sultan.

He addressed his public downfall in a podcast, marking his first detailed reflection since the controversy erupted.

Khan said the wave of criticism, ongoing court cases and accusations surrounding the separation created a pressure he could barely endure. He shared that the custody battle for his two children left him emotionally drained and professionally paralysed for months. The Khaani star explained that people attacking his character affected him harder than any career setback previously experienced. He said he kept working silently despite feeling cornered by narratives that spiraled beyond his control at the time. Khan revealed that the constant tension at home and in court became overwhelming when he was repeatedly stopped from meeting his children.

He admitted that his acting career began slowing down rapidly because he avoided public spaces and isolated himself for several weeks. Khan recalled questioning his future in the entertainment industry.

The actor said: “I even thought about becoming a tailor if acting didn’t work out anymore.” He said during the podcast that the emotional collapse reached its peak one day when he fainted inside his home unexpectedly. According to him, he woke up disoriented after losing consciousness and felt he was close to dying that evening.

He described that moment as a wake-up call, which frightened him enough to reconsider his ability to cope. Khan said the only constant during his darkest months was his mother’s determination to pray for his recovery daily.

He added that she repeatedly recited Ayatul Kursi for him, which brought him comfort and emotional stability gradually.

During the podcast, he also addressed domestic abuse allegations made against him previously. He said, “My side of the story is very simple. A girl and I were in a relationship and everyone has good and bad days. One of our bad days became very bad and that’s what happened. Later, whatever happened maybe she got scared and I had to face these false charges. I am not a guy who would beat a woman or pull a gun on her. All the girls like Hiba and others who have worked with me have never said they felt anything negative from me.” He concluded: “I chose to stay silent and the people who have worked with me know my calibre. I am not concerned about others.”

The actor said the entire process was traumatising regardless of the legal outcome because it limited his role as a father. He quietly married psychologist Dr Zainab in June 2024, beginning a new chapter after prolonged turmoil. Feroze Khan said the new marriage helped stabilise him emotionally, although he is still rebuilding professionally after the controversies.
