Sindh CM fires back at India’s defense minister over Sindh remarks

Published on: November 27, 2025 4:28 PM

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah strongly responded to Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s remarks about Sindh. Shah called Singh’s statement a “desperate act” after India’s setbacks. He condemned the remarks and said such threats will never succeed.

Speaking in the Sindh Assembly, Shah compared the Indian minister’s statement to “a cornered cat scratching a post.” He said the reaction reflects India’s frustration after May 9. He stressed that Pakistan and Sindh remain united against external threats.

Shah assured that the Indus River will be protected at all costs. He said Sindh’s security forces are fully prepared to respond to any aggression. He emphasized that Pakistan’s territorial integrity is non-negotiable.

The Chief Minister warned that no one can separate Sindh from Pakistan. He said the province will remain united and defend its geography and sovereignty. Shah stressed the importance of maintaining national unity in the face of foreign provocation.
