Published on: December 14, 2025 2:05 PM

DUBAI – Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl first against India in the high-stakes fifth match of the ACC Men’s Under-19 Asia Cup 2025 at the ICC Academy on Sunday.

The game was delayed by 45 minutes due to moderate rain and was reduced to 49 overs per side. Notably, the toss saw no handshake between the two rival teams.

Pakistan entered the match after a dominant 297-run victory over Malaysia, powered by centuries from Sameer Minhas and Ahmed Hussain, showcasing the team’s strong batting and all-round capabilities.

Ahmed Hussain scored 132 off 144 balls, hitting eight fours and two sixes, while Sameer Minhas remained unbeaten on 177 off 148 deliveries, striking 11 fours and eight sixes.
