Eight Indian-backed terrorists killed in Kalat

Published on: December 25, 2025 3:03 PM

Kalat: Security forces killed eight Indian-backed terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Kalat district, ISPR confirmed Thursday. The operation targeted members of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA). Intelligence reports had confirmed the terrorists’ presence in the area.

According to ISPR, the terrorists were linked to “Fitna al Hindustan” and were actively involved in multiple violent activities. Security forces launched a precise operation against their hideout, which led to an intense gunfight and the elimination of all eight militants.

The military’s media wing stated that weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the killed terrorists. ISPR described the operation as highly effective, neutralizing threats before they could execute further attacks. Sanitisation operations are ongoing to ensure no militants remain in the area.

The operation is part of Pakistan’s broader counterterrorism campaign, “Azm-e-Istehkam,” approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan. Authorities emphasized that the campaign will continue at full pace to ensure lasting security.
