Pakistan unveils welcome song for UAE president

To mark the first official visit of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Pakistan, the government released a special welcome song celebrating the historic occasion. The musical tribute highlights warm diplomatic relations and mutual respect between the two nations.

The song’s visuals showcase the UAE president’s arrival in Pakistan, a grand reception, and cordial interactions with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, including handshakes and embraces that symbolise strong bilateral ties and friendship.

Children presenting flowers to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan are also featured in the video, portraying the affection and enthusiasm of Pakistan’s people in honouring their distinguished guest during his official visit.

Lyrics centered on “Ahlan wa Sahlan, Marhaba” convey hospitality, goodwill, and welcome, reflecting the deep-rooted cultural and diplomatic connections shared by Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates at multiple levels.

The song emphasizes fraternal relations, mutual cooperation, and enduring ties, portraying both countries’ commitment to strengthening friendship and collaboration across economic, social, and political spheres in the region.

Officials said the musical tribute serves not only as a warm reception but also as a symbolic reminder of Pakistan-UAE relations, inspiring public pride and reinforcing the importance of continued partnership and trust.
