The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) postponed all Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) matches scheduled for Tuesday, December 30, following the death of former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia. The decision came hours before the Sylhet Titans were set to play Chattogram Royals.
The BCB cited national mourning and respect for Khaleda Zia’s legacy as the reason for the postponement. Rescheduled fixtures will be announced later, ensuring the tournament continues smoothly despite the break.
