GTA 6 delay rumors debunked by insider

Published on: December 30, 2025 4:04 PM

GTA 6 fans have recently been hit by new rumors suggesting that Rockstar Games might delay the highly anticipated release of Grand Theft Auto VI until 2027. This speculation has reignited frustration within the gaming community. Many fans, already familiar with previous postponements, reacted angrily across social media platforms. The rumors intensified discussions about the game’s timeline and sparked widespread online debate.

The 2027 delay theory originated from unverified posts, particularly by the page ‘Hoops Crave,’ claiming that Rockstar had postponed GTA 6 until June 6, 2027. Shared on December 26, 2025, the post quickly went viral, gathering over 4 million views on X (formerly Twitter). Consequently, fans expressed heightened disappointment despite no official announcement from Rockstar Games.

Rockstar insider Reece “Kiwi Talkz” Reilly responded to the speculation, calling the 2027 delay claims “complete nonsense.” Known for accurately predicting previous delays, Reilly assured fans that the game is still far from a release where any further postponement can be determined. His statement helped calm some of the growing frustration among the community.

This is total BS, I can confirm that GTA 6 is still too far out to determine if another delay is needed yet.

These people are just stirring the pot for engagement. If I hear rumblings of another delay I will let you know but for now stop believing this crap.

He promised that if any credible updates emerge, he would share them directly with the GTA fan community. This transparency reassures players eager for reliable information.
