A Lahore court has summoned YouTuber Saad Ur Rehman, known as Ducky, in an online gambling promotion case. He, his wife Aroob Jatoi, and other accused appeared in court and received copies of the challan. The court set January 16 as the date for formally framing charges against all defendants in the case.
During the hearing, the court noted Ducky cannot upload videos from his seized YouTube channel without permission. The court clarified that only it can authorize channel activity, rejecting Ducky’s claim of self-granted permission. Prosecution also opposed any vlogging from the seized channel, stating the content could promote illegal gambling activities.

Ducky’s lawyer said they were confused because their client had not been vlogging on the channel recently. The court emphasized that the YouTube channel is considered evidence, and the NCCIA has officially seized it. While Ducky can continue vlogging, uploading videos from the seized channel remains strictly illegal under the law.
The case was filed by the National Counter Terrorism and Cybercrime Investigation Agency against online gambling promotion. Authorities provided detailed challans against all accused, highlighting illegal promotional activities through digital platforms and social media. The court instructed the accused to appear on the next hearing and warned against unauthorized channel use.
