Two children were killed and five others injured when the roof of a house collapsed in the Golimar area of Nawabshah. Upon receiving information about the incident, teams of Rescue 1122 and SIEHS responded promptly and shifted the affected persons to a nearby hospital. The deceased children were identified as five-year-old Ahmed and four-year-old Imad, while the injured included two children, two men and one woman.
Acting on the directions of Adviser to the Chief Minister Sindh for Rehabilitation, Giyanchand Essrani, Rescue 1122 personnel immediately carried out the operation and ensured the timely transportation of the victims to the hospital. Expressing condolences to the bereaved families, Mr Essrani said the Sindh government was making Rescue services more effective to ensure immediate response and public safety. He praised the personnel of Rescue 1122 and SIEHS for demonstrating courage, dedication and a strong sense of duty, and said the emergency services remained fully prepared to deal with any emergency situation.
