Season 4 draws from Julia Quinn’s third novel, An Offer from a Gentleman, shifting the spotlight to Benedict Bridgerton, portrayed by Luke Thompson. His story begins at a masquerade ball hosted by Lady Violet Bridgerton, where Benedict meets a mysterious guest known only as the Lady in Silver.
Unbeknownst to him, the woman behind the mask is Sophie, played by newcomer Yerin Ha, a maid who becomes the focus of Benedict’s relentless search. The season will also explore the romantic entanglements of the wider Bridgerton family, continuing the show’s signature blend of intrigue, courtship and high-society scandal.
A red-carpet premiere in Paris treated attendees to an advance screening of Episode 1. The episode features orchestral covers of Coldplay’s Life in Technicolor, Usher and Pitbull’s DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love, and Third Eye Blind’s Never Let You Go, maintaining the show’s popular tradition of reworking modern pop hits into Regency-era arrangements.
