Elon Musk has made a startling prediction about artificial intelligence (AI), saying it will surpass human intelligence by the end of 2026. Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, he warned that rapid AI progress could soon exceed the cognitive abilities of humans. Musk added that within five years, AI could outperform all humans collectively, possibly by 2030 or 2031.

Musk highlighted the speed of AI development, noting that while the long-term future is uncertain, current trends indicate a fast rise in machine intelligence. He said AI and robotics would revolutionize economies and daily life. Musk predicted humanoid robots will soon become common, assisting humans in everyday tasks and providing essential services.
