Eight of a family killed in road accident

Eight members of a family, among them 5 children and a woman, lost their lives as their car met an accident with a dumper truck in Khurshees colony area in Kotri SITE, Jamshoro district, around 12 midnight on Friday. According to the police and Rescue 1122, the family was travelling from Hyderabad to Thatta in Suzuki Mehran car. A spokesman of Rescue 1122 informed that they pulled out 6 bodies from the car which was completely destroyed. The deceased children have been identified as Toora, Aalam, Shahzeb, Samina and Jannat. The adults who lost their lives were brothers Raza Khan and Ghulam Haider, whose wife was also killed in that accident. Aalam and Shahzeb were sons of Ghulam Haider while Raza was the father of Toora and Jannat. The Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah and Senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon have expressed deep sadness over the tragic accident. They directed the police to investigate the matter and to ensure that road safety measures were enforced. The CM Murad has expressed his grief over the loss of precious human lives. He extended condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the eternal peace and high ranks of the deceased persons. The CM directed to provide full cooperation to the heirs, including assistance in the transportation of the bodies and completion of all necessary formalities.
