Sunny Deol’s controversial dialogue sparks viral sarcasm from Yasir Hussain

Published on: January 26, 2026 1:03 AM

Pakistani actor and director Yasir Hussain has taken a swipe at Indian actor Sunny Deol after a controversial moment from the promotion of Deol’s upcoming film Border 2 went viral on social media. During a promotional event, Sunny Deol attempted to deliver a dialogue from the film in front of a live audience. The dialogue, delivered in a military backdrop, reportedly mentioned Lahore and appeared aimed at provoking nationalist emotions. However, without cinematic background effects and post-production editing, the dialogue failed to create the intended impact.

Despite repeated efforts, Sunny Deol was unable to recreate the intensity of the dialogue in his trademark loud style, making the moment appear flat and awkward to viewers. As the clip circulated widely on Instagram, Yasir Hussain shared the video on his Instagram story with a sarcastic comment, writing: “Uncle can’t even get his voice out.” His remark quickly gained traction, triggering strong reactions from social media users.

Many users echoed Yasir Hussain’s criticism, with some commenting that Bollywood now focuses more on promoting Hindutva ideology than producing meaningful cinema. One user wrote that when creativity dries up, propaganda becomes the only product left to sell.
