Tehmina Ahmed clinches Fatima Jinnah Golf Championship title

LAHORE: Seasoned golfer Tehmina Ahmed delivered an exceptional performance to emerge victorious in the Fatima Jinnah Golf Championship, which concluded in grand style at the Royal Palm Golf Course on Sunday.

Demonstrating remarkable skill, experience, and composure, Tehmina Ahmed proved her dominance throughout the tournament. Rising to the challenge in a highly competitive field, she handled the pressure of the final day with confidence and grace, ultimately securing a well-deserved championship title. Her consistent and technically sound play distinguished her as the most deserving winner of the event.

In the gross category, Saqiba Batool showcased an impressive performance to secure the runner-up position, while the experienced Ayesha Moazzam finished third, adding further competitiveness to the championship.

Simultaneously, intense competition was witnessed in the net category. Salbiha Murtaza from SOHA claimed top honours with an outstanding display of skill and precision. Aliha Amjad finished as runner-up, while Arooj Kanwal secured third position, completing a commendable performance in the category. The tournament was officiated by Chief Referee Tahir Ayub, who ensured the smooth conduct of the championship in accordance with tournament standards and regulations.

Several other participants also delivered notable performances during the event. Among them were Shahzadi Gulfam, Ghazala Yasmin, Zaib Nisa, Ana James, and Humma Amjad, all of whom contributed to the high standard of competition witnessed throughout the championship.
