Dar pledges stronger Pakistan-Kazakhstan ties

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during his two-day official visit to Pakistan. Dar extended warm greetings from President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and the Pakistani government. He highlighted the growing momentum of high-level political exchanges between the two countries.

During the meeting, Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation in political, economic, and people-to-people domains. He emphasized the importance of sustained collaboration to strengthen ties and mutual understanding. Both leaders expressed optimism about future engagement across multiple sectors.

Dar stressed that enhanced bilateral relations would support durable peace, regional stability, and development. He noted that Pakistan values its strategic partnership with Kazakhstan and seeks deeper cooperation in trade, investment, and cultural exchange.

The officials discussed the significance of continuous dialogue and high-level visits to maintain momentum in diplomatic relations. Dar highlighted that these exchanges strengthen trust, foster connectivity, and open new avenues for collaboration.

Finally, both sides expressed their resolve to work together for the prosperity of the region. They agreed to continue engaging in initiatives that promote economic growth, cultural ties, and strategic partnership.
