NADRA launches mobile registration for Pakistanis in Ras Al Khaimah

Published on: February 13, 2026 1:45 PM

ISLAMABAD — The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced a mobile registration service for Pakistanis living in the United Arab Emirates, with a visit scheduled to Ras Al Khaimah on Sunday, 15 February 2026. The service will operate from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Pakistan Centre, allowing citizens to apply for new identity documents, renewals, or amendments with ease.

NADRA officials will be accompanied by representatives from the Pakistan Consulate to facilitate the process. Pakistani nationals are also encouraged to use the Pak-Identity mobile application to apply for NICOP or other identity documents, eliminating the need for standing in long queues. Applicants may alternatively visit consulates in Dubai and Abu Dhabi or NADRA offices during trips to Pakistan.

The mobile service is part of broader efforts to modernize identity verification and registration processes. NADRA recently launched “Nishan-e-Pakistan,” an online verification system that allows both government agencies and regulated private sector organisations to access secure, authenticated identity checks through a single digital portal.

Officials noted that the initiative will be especially beneficial for banks, telecom providers, and financial institutions, which have traditionally relied on time-consuming manual verification procedures. By digitizing registration, subscription, and access, the new facility reduces paperwork and accelerates service delivery.

The project forms part of Pakistan’s Digital Economy Enhancement Project, aimed at strengthening national digital infrastructure and improving citizen access to government services. NADRA emphasized that the initiative aligns with the government’s vision of efficient, technology-driven public service for overseas Pakistanis.
