Punjab CM pays tribute to Pakistan Army

Published on: February 28, 2026 2:27 AM

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif pays tribute to the Pakistan Army for delivering a decisive response to the enemy during Operation “Ghazab lil Haq”.

She describes the operation as a true reflection of the sentiments of the entire nation and commends the armed forces for giving a befitting and forceful reply. She states that any hostile eye cast towards Pakistan will be plucked out and any hand raised against the country will be broken. She salutes the brave soldiers who have proven that Pakistan’s borders are impregnable.

The chief minister says Operation “Ghazab lil Haq” sends a clear message to the Khawarij that Pakistan’s patience has reached its limit. She adds that the country’s borders are like an iron wall and every misadventure will be crushed.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif says the nation will hold accountable those responsible for the blood of its martyrs. She remarks that the enemy will now be answered in the language it understands. Pakistan, she affirms, was, is and will always remain unconquerable.

Meanwhile, Azma Bokhari, Provincial Minister for Information and Culture Punjab, has strongly condemned the cowardly attack carried out by Fitna-e-Khawarij along the Pak-Afghan border.

In her statement, she said that hostile elements are attempting to undermine Pakistan’s peace and stability, but such actions cannot weaken the resolve of the nation. She paid glowing tribute to the Pakistan Army for its immediate and lethal counter-response against the Khawarij and their handlers.

She stated that the brave sons of the soil possess the full capability to deliver a crushing response to any act of aggression and know how to eliminate the enemy along with its nefarious designs.

Azma Bokhari warned that those issuing hollow war threats against Pakistan should remember May 2025. She emphasized that Pakistan is a peace-loving yet dignified nation that remains fully vigilant about its defense. “We know very well how to defend ourselves and how to respond to the enemy in its own language,” she asserted.

She further remarked that the Khawarij, their forefathers, and their facilitators had faced defeat in the past and would continue to do so. She said the retaliatory force of the Pakistan Army would be remembered by the Khawarij and their handlers for generations. Anti-state elements must realize that no conspiracy against Pakistan will be allowed to succeed.

The Provincial Information Minister reaffirmed that the entire nation stands like a wall of steel with the Pakistan Army at all times and under all circumstances. Whether it is a battle of narratives or a battlefield confrontation, victory will belong to Pakistan.

She reiterated the government’s unwavering commitment that there will be no compromise on national security, sovereignty, or defense, and that anti-Pakistan forces will face defeat on every front.
