According to Pakistan’s Foreign Office, both leaders reviewed the evolving situation in Iran and the wider region. Dar called for an urgent resumption of diplomacy to achieve a peaceful resolution. He stressed that dialogue remains the only viable path forward. The statement followed US and Israeli strikes on Iranian territory. Tehran later responded with missile launches toward regional targets.

Meanwhile, Dar also spoke with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud. Both leaders expressed deep concern over unfolding developments. Separately, the Foreign Office issued a travel advisory for Pakistani nationals. Citizens were advised to avoid all non-mandatory travel to Iran. Pakistanis residing in Iran were urged to exercise caution and remain vigilant. The ministry asked them to minimize non-essential movement. Officials also directed citizens to maintain contact with Pakistani missions.

The Foreign Office provided emergency contact numbers for missions in Tehran, Zahidan and Mashhad. Authorities said support services remain operational for Pakistani nationals. Islamabad reiterated its commitment to safeguarding citizens abroad. The situation remains fluid as diplomatic efforts continue. Pakistan has called on all sides to prevent further military confrontation.
