Pakistan’s Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq destroys Taliban posts

Published on: March 7, 2026 10:43 PM

Pakistan’s military continues Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq along the Pak-Afghan border, responding to unprovoked actions by Afghan Taliban forces. Security sources confirmed that multiple Taliban posts were destroyed in an aerial strike in Northern Waziristan. The operation aims to neutralize militant threats and restore security in the border region.

Officials said the airstrikes inflicted heavy losses on the Afghan Taliban, forcing the remaining fighters to retreat. Several militants were reportedly killed while others fled the area, according to military sources. The strike demonstrates the military’s capability to respond decisively to cross-border threats.

Security sources added that ground and aerial operations against the Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij continue in the area. Pakistani forces are targeting remaining militant strongholds and infrastructure to ensure sustained security along the border. The operation is being conducted systematically to eliminate armed threats.

Military officials stressed that the operation will continue until all objectives are achieved. Both ground and air assets are being used to prevent any regrouping of militant elements, and patrols along strategic border areas have been intensified. The campaign reflects Pakistan’s commitment to securing its frontier.
