Fahad Mustafa responds to criticism over alleged arrogance

Published on: March 13, 2026 4:58 PM

Renowned Pakistani actor and TV host Fahad Mustafa has addressed rumors about his alleged arrogance, saying he is neither proud nor comparable to international stars like Tom Cruise or Shah Rukh Khan. He emphasized that his popularity is due to his work and connection with audiences rather than personal ego. Mustafa said public perception often misinterprets his behavior, and he appreciates that people are entitled to their opinions. His comments came during an interview on journalist Maliha Rehman’s YouTube show.

Mustafa, widely admired for his acting and hosting the hit game show Jeeto Pakistan, explained that his demeanor varies depending on the situation. Sometimes he blends easily with people, while at other times he remains reserved, which may be misunderstood as arrogance. He highlighted that his approach is deliberate, reflecting self-awareness about public interactions. Mustafa also stressed that his conduct during live shows and interviews is professional, despite occasional misunderstandings.

Discussing his acting career, Mustafa praised his successful pairing with actress Hania Aamir in the drama Kabhi Mein Kabhi Tum. He noted that his achievements in film and production have brought him widespread recognition but also attracted social media scrutiny. He said that while praise is appreciated, constant recognition can be exhausting, leading him to avoid certain events and public gatherings.

During the interview, Mustafa humorously referenced senior actress Atiqa Odho while addressing the perception of his personality. He said he rarely makes mistakes in interviews compared to others and feels proud when people mention him positively on television and social media. This, he added, is a reflection of his professional dedication rather than personal arrogance.

He explained that understanding public perception and balancing humility with self-confidence is essential for maintaining credibility and respect in the entertainment industry. He emphasized that his primary focus remains his craft and connecting authentically with audiences.
