The initiative comes as part of Pakistan Railways’ broader efforts to provide maximum travel facilities during the Eid holidays. With millions expected to travel across the country, the department is prioritizing passenger comfort and ensuring that journeys are smooth despite high demand.

Officials said the trains will be equipped to handle increased passenger loads and that operational teams are ready to manage ticketing, boarding, and other logistical requirements. Pakistan Railways has also advised passengers to book their tickets in advance to avoid last-minute difficulties and to follow safety guidelines while traveling.

The special Eid train operations reflect the government’s commitment to supporting citizens during major festivals, ensuring that family reunions and celebrations are not disrupted by transportation challenges. These measures are particularly important as millions of Pakistanis travel long distances to celebrate Eid ul Fitr with their loved ones.
