She was subsequently moved to a private hospital in Rawalpindi under strict security, where all necessary pre-operative tests were conducted. After obtaining her consent, a team of medical experts led by Professor Dr Nadeem Qureshi performed the procedure.

Medical officials confirmed that the surgery was completed successfully. Following the operation, Bushra Bibi remained under observation at the hospital for one night before being discharged.

After her release from the hospital, she was transported back to Adiala Jail under tight security arrangements. Authorities stated that all standard medical protocols were followed throughout the process to ensure her safety and well-being.

Doctors have advised continued follow-up examinations to monitor her recovery and ensure that the surgical outcome remains stable. Retinal detachment, if untreated, can lead to permanent vision loss, making timely medical care critical.
