The Pakistan Cricket Board has imposed a one-year ban on Sri Lankan cricketer Dasun Shanaka from participating in the Pakistan Super League after a contract breach. The decision follows his withdrawal from PSL 11, which officials said violated league regulations. The move highlights PCB’s strict stance on contractual compliance.
According to the PCB, Shanaka was part of the Lahore Qalandars squad but withdrew from the tournament despite an existing agreement. Officials said the decision disrupted league commitments and amounted to a clear breach of contract. As a result, he has been declared ineligible for PSL 12 as well.
