The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast mainly dry weather across most parts of the country during the next 24 hours, while daytime temperatures are expected to remain high, especially in the plains. As a result, residents in several regions may experience intense heat and dry winds, particularly during the afternoon hours when temperatures typically reach their peak.
However, weather conditions may slightly differ in northern and western regions, where partly cloudy skies could bring light rain, gusty winds, and thunderstorms at isolated locations. Areas in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, and northeast Balochistan may witness brief weather disturbances as moist air interacts with warmer atmospheric conditions.

Meanwhile, the federal capital Islamabad and nearby areas are likely to experience partly cloudy weather, with chances of light rain and thunderstorms during the morning hours. These short weather changes may provide temporary relief from rising temperatures, although warm conditions are expected to return later in the day.
Across most districts of Punjab and Sindh, authorities expect hot and dry weather to dominate throughout the day. Nevertheless, the Potohar region could see partly cloudy skies in the afternoon, while dust-raising winds may develop in southern districts due to increasing heat and dry air movement.

Furthermore, hill stations including Murree and Galliyat may receive light rain accompanied by gusty winds and thunderstorms. At the same time, scattered rain-wind activity is also possible in parts of Balochistan such as Quetta, Zhob, Ziarat, Chaman, Qila Abdullah, and Qila Saifullah, where localized thunderstorms may briefly change weather conditions.
Overall, most regions across the country will continue to experience warm and dry conditions, while isolated northern and western areas could receive short spells of rain and thunderstorms. Weather experts therefore advise citizens to remain cautious during peak heat hours and stay updated with official forecasts as seasonal weather patterns gradually evolve.
