
Rawalpindi franchise registered their first victory in PSL 11 after defeating Islamabad United in Karachi. The win came after eight consecutive defeats, finally ending their losing streak. The result marked a major relief for the team in the ongoing tournament.
Chasing a target of 138 runs, Rawalpindi achieved the total in 18.1 overs. They lost four wickets during the chase but maintained steady control of the required run rate. The team completed the match with a composed batting effort.

Furthermore, captain Mohammad Rizwan led the chase with a crucial 45 runs. Kamran Ghulam added 42 runs to support the innings. Daryl Mitchell and Dean Forster also contributed valuable unbeaten partnerships to secure the win.
Earlier, Islamabad United were bowled out for 137 runs in 20 overs. Devon Conway top-scored with 40 runs, while Chris Green added a late boost with a quick 29-run knock. However, most of their batting lineup failed to reach double figures.
