UAE and Sweden discuss Middle East tensions

The President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson discussed Middle East tensions in a phone call. The leaders reviewed regional developments and emphasized cooperation to support stability. The talks also focused on strengthening bilateral relations.

Both sides explored opportunities to expand cooperation in key sectors. These include renewable energy, sustainability, technology, artificial intelligence, and economic development. The leaders stressed that deeper collaboration would support long-term shared growth goals.

During the conversation, the two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening UAE-Sweden relations. They agreed that enhanced cooperation could improve economic resilience and promote sustainable development. The discussion reflected growing engagement between the two countries.

Regional security remained a central topic during the call. The leaders exchanged views on ongoing Middle East developments and their impact on global peace. They also discussed risks to maritime routes and energy supply chains.
