Ata Tarar claims Pakistan rising, India failing

Published on: May 2, 2026 7:30 PM

Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar has said that Pakistan is “shining globally” while India faces “failure and embarrassment.” He made the remarks while addressing a ceremony in Islamabad. His speech focused on Pakistan’s diplomatic and security achievements.

He said Pakistan holds a strong position at both diplomatic and military levels. According to him, people around the world now take pride in their association with Pakistan. He contrasted this with what he described as isolation and setbacks on the other side of the eastern border.

The minister also referred to terrorism-related incidents, claiming Pakistan has consistently suffered cross-border challenges. He said India has not properly condemned terrorism incidents in Pakistan. He also cited past events involving alleged suspects to support his claims.

Atta Tarar said Pakistan has emerged as a “flag bearer of peace” after recent developments. He added that Pakistan’s achievements were also reflected at the diplomatic level. He claimed the country successfully defended its position internationally.
