As part of these efforts, a video interview of the child was recorded and shared on the social media platform to enable identify her family. Due to following social media outreach, the child’s sister, Rida, recognized her and contacted Safe City “Mera Pyara” team. The family later confirmed that the child had gone missing from Sheikhupura in 2022.After initial verification and complete confirmation, the child was successfully reunited with her family. The spokesperson emphasized that “Mera Pyara” team has so far successfully reunited over 70,000 missing and abandoned individuals with their families, demonstrating effective use of modern technology which speak volumes of dedicated and commendable humanitarian efforts.
