Miss World 2017 wishes to be a part of Aamir Khan’s next film

Published on: November 28, 2017 10:48 PM

Manushi Chhillar was recently crowned Miss World 2017 and broke headlines all over.

Just recently, she said that she would love to work in an Aamir Khan film in the company of the superstar who was internationally acclaimed to make socially relevant movies that touched the heart and soul.

“I’ll definitely want to work in an Aamir Khan film. I think he has some really challenging roles that he gives you. At the same time, his movies have a message and connect to the society. So it’ll be very interesting to do. In the actresses, my favourite is Priyanka Chopra,” said Manushi.

The 20-year-old medical student also added, “I am very excited how this year will turn out. I’ll be traveling, visiting continents. We will be spreading awareness about menstrual hygiene where I’ll be joined by my other Miss World sisters. That’s what I am excited about right now. Bollywood is something which isn’t on my mind as of now. I really can’t say anything about it.”

Continuing further onwards, she said, “In the first week of the pageant the other contestants thought I was a Bollywood actor. But jokes apart, we all are very similar. We didn’t have any preconceived notions about each other. We go to such pageants with a fresh mind and there’s a lot of curiosity to know each other.”

Manushi is the sixth Indian contestant to have been crowned the Miss World title and directly succeeds Priyanka Chopra in the line. Chopra won the Miss World pageant in 2000, exactly 17 years ago.
