President and Prime Minister Meet to Ease Inflation Pressure

President Asif Ali Zardari met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad to discuss key national issues. The meeting focused on reducing inflation pressure and providing relief to the public. Both leaders emphasized urgent steps to improve economic conditions and stabilize prices across the country.

Several senior officials attended the meeting at the President House in Islamabad. These included Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, and Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar. Senator Saleem Mandviwalla and Dr. Asim were also present during the discussions.

During the meeting, leaders reviewed the overall political situation of the country. They also discussed Afghanistan-related matters and the evolving regional dynamics. In addition, they exchanged views on foreign policy challenges and their impact on national stability.

Furthermore, the leadership paid tribute to the martyrs of “Marka-e-Haq” and praised the professional capabilities of Pakistan’s armed forces. They reaffirmed their strong commitment to national defense and security. The meeting highlighted unity and resolve in facing internal and external challenges.

President Zardari stressed that despite regional tensions and disruptions in supply chains, the government must prioritize public relief. He emphasized the need to ensure availability of essential goods at stable prices. Moreover, he directed authorities to take practical steps to reduce inflation pressure on ordinary citizens.

In conclusion, both the President and Prime Minister agreed to accelerate efforts for economic relief and price stability. They reiterated that public welfare remains the top priority of the state. The President and PM meet to ease inflation pressure nationwide relief initiative signals stronger coordination to support citizens during economic challenges.
