A Karachi court has approved a three-day physical remand of alleged drug trafficker Anmol alias Pinky, allowing investigators to further question her in connection with multiple narcotics-related cases.
According to Deputy Inspector General (South) Asad Raza, the suspect was presented again before a judicial magistrate after an earlier request for physical remand had been rejected by the court.

Police officials said that during the fresh hearing, investigators once again requested physical custody for interrogation, which the court accepted, granting a three-day remand.
Following the court’s decision, police took custody of the suspect and left the courtroom for further investigation. Authorities said they are expanding the scope of the investigation and have also gathered details of previous cases registered against the accused.
Law enforcement officials allege that Anmol alias Pinky was involved in an organised drug trafficking network operating in Karachi, dealing in high-value narcotics.
Police earlier claimed to have recovered cocaine worth millions of rupees along with other illegal substances during a raid in the Garden area of the city, where the suspect was arrested from a residential flat.
The case has attracted significant attention due to the scale of the alleged drug operation and claims that the network used online platforms and delivery riders to distribute narcotics across Karachi.
Officials further stated that additional evidence is being collected to identify other individuals linked to the alleged drug supply chain.
The investigation is expected to continue during the remand period, with police focusing on tracing financial transactions, communication networks and potential accomplices.

Meanwhile, the case has also raised concerns among residents after questions were raised regarding addresses mentioned in the FIR, with some families denying any connection to the suspect. Authorities say the probe is ongoing and further arrests may follow as the investigation develops.
