Sindh home minister conferred with Sitara-e-Imtiaz

A prestigious investiture ceremony was held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad, where President Asif Ali Zardari conferred the Sitara-e-Imtiaz upon Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar in recognition of his outstanding public and administrative services. The ceremony was attended by senior civil and military officials, officers of law enforcement agencies, representatives of government departments, and prominent personalities from various walks of life.

Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar was awarded the national honour for his significant contributions towards maintaining law and order in the province, leading effective operations against dacoit networks, improving the policing system, combating narcotics, taking strict action against criminal elements, and adopting a strong strategy to curb serious crimes. Participants of the ceremony appreciated the services of Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar and remarked that under his leadership, the law and order situation in Sindh has witnessed notable improvement. They noted that the measures taken to protect the lives and property of citizens and eliminate crime have also received recognition at the national level.

Political, social, and public circles extended congratulations to the Sindh Home Minister on receiving the Sitara-e-Imtiaz, describing the honour as a matter of pride for the Government of Sindh and the people of the province.
