Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has accused the United Arab Emirates of being directly involved in actions against Iran. He made the remarks while addressing a BRICS forum, saying regional unity was being undermined by certain policies. The statement highlights growing diplomatic tensions between Tehran and Abu Dhabi.
Araghchi said the UAE did not even condemn attacks on Iran when they began. He added that Iran had avoided naming the UAE earlier in the interest of regional solidarity. The Iranian minister urged Abu Dhabi to reconsider its policy toward Tehran and adopt a more balanced approach.

Moreover, Araghchi strongly criticised what he described as US “bullying” in global affairs. He said such behaviour should be consigned to history as nations collectively resist external pressure. He added that resistance to domination was not a new conflict but a long-standing regional experience.
In addition, the Iranian foreign minister called for closer cooperation among countries facing similar geopolitical challenges. He said many nations had endured different forms of coercion over time. Araghchi stressed that unity among these countries was more important than ever in the current environment.
