Pakistani singer and actor Farhan Saeed has praised senior actress Saba Hameed for her powerful acting, comparing her to legendary Bollywood actor Amrish Puri.
In a recent talk show appearance, Farhan Saeed shared insights about his popular drama Mere Humsafar, in which Saba Hameed played his on-screen mother. He said that after the success of the drama, he once kissed Saba Hameed’s hands in admiration, as her negative role was performed with such intensity that audiences genuinely disliked her character.
According to him, a hero only shines when the antagonist is strong, and roles played by Saba Hameed are so impactful that few actors can match her performance in villainous characters. He added that the suffering of Hania Aamir’s character in the drama, caused by Saba Hameed’s role, made his character more popular and emotionally powerful among viewers.
Farhan Saeed also revealed that he is currently working again with Saba Hameed in a new drama, where her character will once again be seen creating emotional challenges for his role.
