Sahiba Afzal shares expectations from future daughter-in-law - Minute Mirror

Veteran Pakistani actress Sahiba Afzal has shared her thoughts on her son’s future marriage, saying she would not object if her son chose to prioritize his wife over his parents, provided the relationship is built on genuine love and care.

Speaking during a recent YouTube show, Sahiba discussed the future marriage of her eldest son, Ahsan Afzal Khan, and explained the qualities she hopes to see in her future daughter-in-law.

The actress said no person is perfect and that her primary wish is for her son’s future wife to be loving, compassionate and deeply committed to him. According to Sahiba, a caring spouse would continue to look after her son even when his parents are no longer around, making kindness and sincerity more important than any other qualities.

She added that she is mentally prepared for the possibility that her son may one day give greater importance to his wife than to his parents. In her view, such a situation would not be problematic if the marriage is based on mutual respect, affection and understanding.

During the conversation, Sahiba was also asked whether her husband, actor Rambo, would be a strict father-in-law. Responding with a smile, she said he would likely maintain a friendly relationship with his future daughter-in-law rather than adopting a strict approach.

According to Sahiba, Rambo would probably offer practical advice regarding healthy eating habits, avoiding excessive consumption of soft drinks and managing household responsibilities effectively.

The actress further revealed that several female contacts are saved in Ahsan’s mobile phone. However, she emphasized that both of her sons are currently focused on their education and professional careers, and marriage is not among their immediate priorities.
