Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi conveyed an important message from Pakistan’s civilian and military leadership during his meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Tehran. The meeting focused on regional tensions, ongoing mediation efforts, and ways to strengthen cooperation between Pakistan and Iran.
According to Iranian state media, Naqvi discussed the current regional situation and highlighted Pakistan’s efforts to support dialogue between Tehran and Washington. Earlier, Naqvi said he carried special messages from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir for Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. During the talks, both sides reviewed bilateral relations and explored ways to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest. Furthermore, they discussed mediation efforts linked to broader regional stability, especially in light of ongoing diplomatic exchanges between the United States and Iran.

Naqvi’s visit also included a meeting with Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni, who welcomed him upon arrival in Tehran.
