Online registration opens for Hajj 2027 pilgrims

Published on: June 22, 2026 12:29 PM

Hajj 2027

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has officially launched online registration for Hajj 2027, allowing prospective pilgrims across Pakistan to begin the application process from today.

According to the ministry, applicants can complete their registration through the official Hajj portal. Officials clarified that possessing a passport is not mandatory during the initial registration phase, making it easier for intending pilgrims to secure their place in the process.

However, the ministry stated that a valid passport will be required at the booking stage. Applicants must ensure that their passports remain valid until at least November 16, 2027, to meet the eligibility requirements for the pilgrimage.

The ministry emphasized that only individuals who complete the registration process will be eligible to proceed with Hajj 2027 bookings. Authorities have urged intending pilgrims to register early to avoid missing the opportunity to participate in the upcoming pilgrimage.

Officials further announced that bookings will be processed on a “first come, first served” basis and will remain open until Pakistan’s allocated Hajj quota is fully utilized. The approach is intended to ensure transparency and efficient allocation of available seats.

Details regarding Hajj package costs, payment schedules and other terms and conditions have not yet been finalized. The ministry said these matters will be announced separately as part of the Hajj Policy 2027, which is expected to outline the complete framework for the pilgrimage programme.

The launch of online registration marks the first step in preparations for Hajj 2027 and is aimed at streamlining the application process for pilgrims. Authorities have encouraged applicants to carefully review all instructions and submit accurate information during registration.

Each year, thousands of Pakistanis travel to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj, one of the five pillars of Islam. The ministry said further updates regarding packages, travel arrangements and quota allocations will be issued in the coming months as preparations for the pilgrimage continue.

Prospective pilgrims are advised to monitor official announcements and complete their registration within the designated timeframe to remain eligible for Hajj 2027 bookings.
