According to the official schedule, officers and staff will receive three weeks of leave in two separate batches. The first phase of the summer vacation will run from July 13 to August 2, 2026, while the second phase will be observed from August 4 to August 24, 2026.
The court administration said the staggered leave arrangement has been introduced to maintain the uninterrupted functioning of the institution. Heads of all departments have been directed to make the necessary administrative arrangements so that judicial proceedings and office operations continue smoothly throughout the vacation period.
An official notification also instructed all officers and employees to complete pending files, official assignments and administrative work before proceeding on leave. The measure is intended to prevent delays in court business and ensure that important matters remain on schedule despite reduced staff availability.
In addition, employees have been directed to keep their registered mobile phone numbers active throughout their vacation. Court authorities said this requirement will enable the administration to contact officers and staff immediately if their presence or assistance is required in connection with urgent official matters.
The Federal Constitutional Court emphasized that the summer vacation schedule is part of routine administrative planning and is designed to balance employee leave with the efficient delivery of judicial services. Officials said the phased arrangement will help maintain continuity in court operations while allowing employees to avail their annual summer break.
