Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has reaffirmed that dialogue remains the most effective way to resolve the political issues facing Balochistan while stressing that lasting peace requires meaningful engagement. Moreover, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti briefed Bilawal on the province’s political, administrative and law and order situation, including the recent wave of terrorism. He informed the meeting that the provincial government had taken steps to support the families affected by the Ziarat tragedy, fulfilled their key demands and established a judicial commission to investigate the incident.

Meanwhile, Bugti announced that an all-party conference would soon be convened to strengthen efforts aimed at restoring peace across Balochistan. He said political parties from both inside and outside parliament would be invited to participate, reflecting the government’s intention to encourage broad political consultation and collective efforts to improve the province’s security and stability.

He also appreciated the chief minister’s efforts to support the victims of the Ziarat tragedy and acknowledged the cooperation shown by opposition parties in advancing the dialogue process.

Bilawal reiterated that political dialogue remains the only sustainable solution to Balochistan’s political challenges and emphasised that the Pakistan Peoples Party believes in engaging with all political parties, regardless of whether they are in government or opposition. At the same time, he reaffirmed the party’s firm stance against terrorism, saying the entire nation remains united in confronting the threat and protecting Pakistan’s peace and stability.
