Chinese national shot near Zamzama Park in Karachi

KARACHI: A Chinese national has been severely injured after he was shot in the head by unknown assailants near Zamzama Park in Defence on Monday.

According to the police, the foreign national was driving near the area when an oncoming car hit his vehicle and later opened fired at him.

The police added that another individual was seated next to the Chinese in his car, who fled the scene after the incident occurred.

The security officials have also recovered nine 9mm pistol shells from the scene, while the police said that the incident is possibly an act of target killing.
