Maryam Nawaz owner of assets worth 845 million

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz’s lists of assets surfaced on Wednesday, revealing her ownership of assets worth 845 million.

According to the nomination papers submitted by former perimer’s daughter Maryam Nawaz in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), there’s a long list of assets she owns.

The nomination papers revealed that Maryam holds shares in Chaudhry Sugar Mills, Hudaibiya Paper Mills, Hudaibiya Engineering Private Limited, Hamza Spinning Mills, Muhammad Buksh Textile Mills along with other five mills.

Other than that Maryam Nawaz reportedly owns 1506 kanals of irrigation land.

Furthermore, Maryam declared to have invested 3.4 million in her family’s flour mills with a Rs 7 million loan to Soft Energy Private Limited.

Moreover, former premier’s daughter has received Rs 40 million in gifts and owns jewellry worth Rs 1.7 million.

The papers stated that her irrigation land’s ownership increased with an addition of 548 kanals over the past three years, When she has spentt about 6.4 million on foreign trips in the last three years.

Maryam Nawaz, a prominent young leader in the Pakistani politics, participating in the upcoming general elections is already under trial for National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) corruption references in the accountability court.
